Thanx for wanting to find out about my achievements!! You’re either a friend, who’s gonna be proud of all my achievements or an enemy who’ll end up feeling envious... either ways be sure you’re not gonna be disappointed ;). Jokes apart here are the most noteworthy achievements of my life, and not necessarily in that order. At NITIE Prerana Summer Project Competition, I won the FIRST PRIZE in the IT segment. The competitors were IIM-Ahmedabad, IIM-Bangalore , NITIE and Sydenham Instt. The judges were Mr. S. Rajagopal (VP & CKO, Cognizant), Mr. M. Sheshadri (VP, Retail, Wipro), Mr. S. Bhadu (Senior Manager/ECU, Ernst & Young), Mr. S. Hariharan (Principal Consultant, TCS)

Ø      FIRST prize for Summer Project Paper at the prestigious Prerana Ernst & Young Summer Project Competition at NITIE, the first and largest competition of its kind in the country.

o       The competitors were IIM-A, IIM-B and NITIE and the jury consisted of VPs and senior executives from Cognizant, Wipro, Ernst & Young and TCS.

Ø      First Runners-Up at the National Level B-School Challenge ACUMEN 2006 Debate at IIM Bangalore, organized by Aditya Birla Group and Business Today, hosted by Harsha Bhogle.

o       The event was covered by CNN-IBN, Pagalguy and Business Today (24th Sep Issue)

Ø      Wipro “Top Performer” Award 2003-04, with a Certificate of Excellence in Overall Performance.(and this after all the freaking out I did in Delhi J)

Ø      KITS “Best Outgoing Student 2003” Award for being the best outgoing student and excelling in all fields in college (and NOT being a bookworm).

Ø      Wipro “Top Performer” Award 2003-04, with a Certificate of Excellence in Overall Performance.(and this after all the freaking out I did in Delhi J)

Ø      Maharashtra State Debate “Overall Championship Trophy”. Was the state level debating champion for 2 consecutive years (certified yapper!).

Ø      Letter of Appreciation by the Associate Vice President of Wipro Mr. Alok Jain for designing and maintaining Web Process website for the company (and it was a better website than this SIGH!).

Ø      2 Pragatis by Wipro, inducted into the prestigious Six Sigma Wipro “Pragati” Club for increasing efficiency in the company by introducing innovative practices (now innovative can mean lotsa things….!)

Ø      Highest rating of G4 P5 by Wipro in the Performance Appraisal (2003-04) and given a    71% Total Salary Increment. (paisa ke liye kuch bhi karega!)

Ø      Being Creative Co-ordinator for the short duration movie R.I.P made by Gaurang  Productions. (always wanted to be in movies)

Ø      Being an unattached and single bachelor. (BIG achievement eh?!)

 

And there are loads of smaller achievements to follow, which I am sure you will not have the time to go through, but lets just put them there for the heck of it!! So here are all the awards I ever won in my life:

During Graduation:

  1.      Won the Second Prize in University Level Elocution UNIFEST-2003 organised by

Nagpur University Students Council.

 

2.      Selected for pursuing industrial training at TATA STEEL Automation Division

and implemented a project on “Global Positioning System and it’s Application in

Automatic Vehicle Location” in June 2002.

 

3.      Awarded First Prize for paper on “Global Positioning System and it’s Applications

in Modern Wireless Communication”  in the Paper Presentation Competition organized

by Electromatix in September 2002.

 

4.      Won the FIRST prize in Group Discussion Competition organized by Civil

Engineering Association in January 2003. 

 

5.      Won the FIRST prize in DEBATE in the Inter-Branch Competition ‘LAKSHYA-2002’

 representing the Electronics Engineering team.

 

6.      Won the FIRST prize in DEBATE in the Inter-Branch competition Tarang-2000 in First

Year B.E.

 

7.      Won the SECOND prize in J.A.M. in the  Inter-Branch competition Tarang-2000 in

First Year B.E.

 

8.      Won the FIRST prize in J.A.M. in TEKNODEON-2000, representing the college team.

 

9.      Was given the award for “Best Article on Graffiti Board” in 2000-2001.

 

10.  Conferred the “Best Member of Literary Club” Award in 2001.

 

11.  Conferred the “Best Member of Literary Club” Award in 2002.

 

12.  Conferred the “Best Member of Literary Club” Award in 2003.

 

13.  Hosted as Master of Ceremony a number of cultural events in college (Musical Night, Annual Day etc.) organized by the Cultural Club.
